A little more about me...

I am very lucky to live in a beautiful town in the Port Stephens area NSW, it is the perfect location to all things amazing about Port Stephens.  I share my life with my husband Declan and I’m a proud Mother of 3 amazing women and step mother to 2 wonderful men. I am also known as Grandma to 3 beautiful grandchildren.

Witchetty Grub Designs, may be a small Australian business but I have a big vision. My aim is to have my beautiful, fun quilts in as many households in Australia. I love to sew these quilts and love to share them with you all.

​

At Witchetty Grub Designs you will find handmade quilts, both traditional and modern, handmade patchwork bags, knitted baby blankets, muslin wraps and soft stuffed toys.

Over the years I have created various, quilts and patchwork bags for my girls and grandchildren, and my girls have encouraged me for years to share these wonderful quilts and bags with others so they can enjoy them as well.

I love when I create a new quilt and can’t wait for it to be shared with others as well to love and cherish for years to come.

Many years ago I embroidered a wool blanket for my youngest daughter when she was born. 28 years later when she had her own daughter, I gave her that exact blanket, I had kept, to keep her beautiful daughter warm as well. As my quilts are made with quality materials and hand made with love, they are able to be handed down to generations to come.
